Honours degree in a relevant subject, or equivalent; non-graduates with relevant professional qualifications or relevant personal, political, professional or voluntary experience also considered; all students must provide 2 satisfactory references.

Both full and part-time students are taught together at 3-day residential workshops twice a term; the course tackles the challenges of globalisation of labour movements, especially union renewal and new forms of union democracy, organising and leadership; it aims to stretch students to think about new and creative strategies of labour movement renewal and transformation, and their own role and identity.
