Students develop: the ability to take part in the decision making processes needed by an adviser in law and business; an understanding of the theories and principles behind the study of the economic and political environment, resource management and business analysis; critical, analytical and evaluative skills in the essential principles of business accounts, marketing and people management; a specialisation in law and business with emphasis on the link between law and business in contemporary society; students may apply to spend a week in Brussels and Strasbourg and visit the European institutions including the European Commission, parliament and courts.
