This programme is especially suited for those who plan careers as gallery owners, curators, dealers, consultants, writers or critics; at the root of the course is an emphasis on the artwork itself and how we approach and interpret contemporary art; tutor-accompanied visits to international art museums and galleries in London and in continental Europe form a regular part of the curriculum; the analysis of paintings, sculptures, installations and conceptual works continues throughout the year; students also curate and propose a hypothetical exhibition using a commercial or public gallery in London as a speculative model.
