Honours degree and a relevant professional qualification, plus a minimum of 2 years experience in health and social care; those who do not hold a 1st degree, evidence of appropriate other study and / or experience will be considered.

The focus of the course includes global concerns about determinants of maternal and child health, alongside exploration of the impact of government policies on the provision of care; it enables practitioners to enhance their critical and analytical skills through application of theories and concepts underpinning relevant areas of practice.
