Some modules may be studied in Greek or English; the Old Testament modules look at the narrative and legal texts of the Old Testament and biblical narrative in both Old Testament and New Testament texts; option to study a module in Hebrew; Christian thought and worship modules: philosophy; sacraments and Anglicanism and the Anglican communion; the major focus of the practical theology stream is the practical experience of the major church placement;plus modules: education (and media); preaching.

Route 1: Honours degree in theology or equivalent qualification and some experience of Christian ministry; students admitted under route 1 may be admitted with Accredited Prior Learning (APL) or Accredited Prior Experiential Learning (APEL) and may be awarded exemptions based on prior learning; route 2: Honours degree in another subject plus at least 1 year’s theological study culminating in level H (3); plus experience of Christian ministry; route 3: Honours degree in another subject plus successful completion of the Graduate Certificate in Theology and Ministry (which includes reflective experience of Christian ministry); the graduate certificate is available through St John's College.
