Year 1: The Common Foundation Programme: this part of the programme provides students with an introduction to the principles of modern nursing along with the study of the disciplines that underpin nursing; there is an introduction to essential care skills which are equally applicable in any sphere of nursing; integration of theory and practice is supported by a variety of placements. Years 2 and 3: Focuses on mental health nursing.

Расположение

Два главных кампуса Университета находятся в Стаффорде и в Стоуке-на-Тренте. Кампусы, находящиеся за пределами основной Университетской территории, расположены в городах Личфилд, Шрусбери и в больнице города Телфолд. До Университета легко добраться на поезде и на машине, а также из местных аэропортов. С железнодорожных станций Стоука и Стаффорда можно быстро добраться до основных городов страны, таких как Бирмингем, Лондон и Манчестер.
