Taught modules 3 hours per week over 15 weeks plus individual tutorial and supported information technology workshop time; students will critically analyse current medication policies and procedures and demonstrate detailed knowledge of relevant legislation, regulations and guidelines regarding medication administration; they will identify key problematic areas in relation to medication management and identify appropriate tools/methods for their resolution and develop audit tools based upon their understanding of key problems with medication administration.
