Programme provides an opportunity for the continuing professional development of qualified teachers working in the field of teaching adult numeracy in the post-compulsory sector (further and adult education); the course has been endorsed by the (SVUK) standards verification UK as meeting level 5 subject specifications for teachers of adult numeracy; this is now the mandatory minimum professional requirement for all adult numeracy teachers involved in the delivery of numeracy courses and qualifications from entry level to level 2 (including GCSE mathematics).
