After an induction period trainees are introduced to a gradually increasing timetable of teaching, ranging from 25% in term 1 to 80% in term 3; trainees are assessed in 2 consecutive key stages plus 1 subject.

Degree or equivalent (minimum 300 CAT points); GCSE in English, mathematics and science grade C or above (or a recognised equivalent); enhanced Criminal Records Bureau (CRB) check; interview.
