Appropriate degree or its equivalent (preferably lower 2nd Class or above) and evidence of recent academic study; applicants need to be registered as a 1st level health care professional with possession of a good professional portfolio; mature students must have minimum 2 years experience; support of manager is essential.

Prepare experienced health care professionals to advance their knowledge and skills in relevant clinical speciality, incorporating domains of conceptualisation, problem solving, reflective abilities, practical abilities and interpersonal/communication skills; course runs on a part time basis of 1 study day per week over 2 years, followed by dissertation year.
