and at least 1 year academic education** Academic IELTS test with an average minimum score of 6.0 and a minimum score of 5.5 on each part.*
TOEFL test score with a minimum score of 550 for the paper-based version, or 80 for the internet-based version. The TOEFL institutional code for Tilburg University is 9860.*
Cambridge Proficiency Examination (CPE, score A, B or C) or Cambridge Advanced English (CAE, score A, B or C). We therefore require successful applicants to have mathematics at the equivalent to Dutch VWO level. Alternatively, you are required to take (and pass) a mathematics course offered by our School during September and October. Specific requirements vary according to the educational system in each country but, generally speaking, your are required to have taken mathematics up to and including the last year of high school.

Psychology is the study of people: who we are, how we think and feel, and why we do what we do. During this Bachelor’s program, you will learn about the science of human behavior. You will learn how to think about - and how to interpret information - from a scientific point of view, as well as how to conduct scientific research yourself. From the second year onwards, you can specialize in one of nine areas of Psychology. You can follow this program entirely in English or entirely in Dutch.
This program has a flexible and innovative curriculum that allows you to choose from nine different specializations in order to make a combination of a major and a minor. This type of curriculum is only offered in Tilburg.
Tilburg University is one of the few institutions in the Netherlands that has experts in the fields of Economic, Forensic and Medical Psychology.
You will acquire a solid foundation in various fields of Psychology that will enable you to practice diverse professions.
