Degree or equivalent in a relevant subject; GCSE English and mathematics grade C or equivalent; before submitting an application students are expected to have spent a minimum of 5 days observing in schools; interview.

The course is offers training across Key Stages 3 and 4; students work in at least 2 of the 8 participating schools; successful completion of this course leads to Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), subject to satisfactory performance in skills tests.
