Relevant 1st or Upper 2nd Class British Honours degree or equivalent qualification in theology required for Master's; exceptional entry is considered for those holding a diploma in theological studies and previous degree, and those with only the diploma in theological studies but at an excellent standard.

Either 4 taught modules and a 15,000-word dissertation or 2 taught modules and a 25,000-30,000-word dissertation; the range of modules on offer allows for a considerable range of specialised focus (egg biblical studies; pastoral theology; worship; doctrine; mission and culture; mission and world development; church in the contemporary world); programme also includes fieldwork element, which aims to provide opportunities to interact with and analyse aspects of contemporary society.
