Taught by a range of industry professionals, this course provides the relevant skills needed to work in the media industries in areas such as moving image, audio/radio, web authoring and journalism; students study a variety of subjects including film, television, media genres (e.g. documentary) and audience and produce a range of practical work including websites, short films and documentaries and radio programmes; guest speakers, visits to local and national media organisations, court reporting and 24-hour news assignments means that students have a realistic experience and truly engage with industry practices and expectations.
