The student is required to complete modules to the value of 120 credits each year to achieve the Bachelor of Arts (Honours) qualification. Level 1: All modules are compulsory and are typically: principles of learning; creative and critical approaches to study; curriculum studies; creative information and communication technology in the classroom; exploring the information society; the role of information and communication technology. Level 2: compulsory modules are typically: models of e-learning; information and communication technology and the curriculum; developing multimedia learning resources; research for enquiry; optional modules may include: web design for education; behaviour and individual differences; mathematics and science in the curriculum; managing people; managing information and communication technology environments; the learning mentor; communication, language and literacy. Level 3: compulsory modules are typically: managing information and communication technology in education; information and communication technology project (2 credit module); contemporary issues in learning and information and communication technology; teaching and learning online; optional modules may include: information and communication technology and special needs; teaching and education; programming for education; managing people and education.
