TOEFL writing:86 with no section less than 21, TOEFL (iBT) speaking:Minimum score of 26. IELTS (Academic) writing:6.5 with no section less than 5.0, IELTS (Academic) speaking:Minimum score of 7.5. The Bridging Program allows eligible students to complete the ELP requirement by taking English for Academic Purposes (EAP) courses during their first year of study, while also being eligible to enroll in academic courses and earn credit toward their degree. Preprofessional Study Time: 1 year. All students in the Qualifying Year in the Faculty of Engineering follow a common curriculum in their first year. At the end of the first year, students choose among the various specialized Engineering programs offered and between the traditional and cooperative education streams.

Chemical engineers find new ways to convert raw materials into finished products, many of which improve daily life. The impact chemical engineers are having on our environment and our world are being realized right now from the oil sands of Fort McMurray to the desert sands of the Sahara. The UAlberta Chemical Engineering program is regarded one of the leading programs in North America and is recognized for its oil sands and biomedical research. Our graduate and undergraduate programs are taught by researchers who are well respected in both academic and industry circles.

Расположение

Факультет образования расположен в основном кампусе Альбертинского университета (Северный кампус), который стоит в центре Эдмонтона на берегу реки Северный Саскачеван уже более ста лет.


В нескольких минутах ходьбы от университета находится «Норт-Саскачеван Ривер Вэлли», самый большой городской парк Северной Америки. Рядом с кампусом проходит историческая Авеню Уайта с большим количеством бутиков и кофеен, а путь до центральной Джаспер Авеню, на которой вы найдете лучшие рестораны и ночные клубы, составит всего несколько трамвайных остановок. Еще через несколько остановок находится Концертный зал Винспера и театр «Цитадель».


У нашего университета также есть франкоговорящий кампус, отделение в центре города, кампус свободных искусств в сельской местности и Южный кампус.
