Вступительные требования

To be considered for admission to the Masters program, the candidate must have attained a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field. 4 year first degree, a bachelor or diploma, or 3 year 180 ECTS Bologna degree after 2003. Minimum Grade Point Average (GPA): 3.00. GRE score of at least Quantitative 155, Verbal 151, and minimum GPA of 3.0 are required. To be competitive for scholarship, applicants are expected to have GRE score exceeding 160 in Quantitative. Minimum TOEFL score of 79 (iBT)(CBT = 213) or IELTS-composite score of 7 (no subject area below 6).

Master's degrees may be awarded for graduate work to students who have received a recognized bachelor's degree. Master's degree involves advanced training gained through intensive study, beyond the bachelor's degree, in a special field (or major) supplemented by study in supporting subjects. A thesis or engineering report is required. At the option of the department, the degree may be awarded to candidates for the Doctor of Philosophy degree who have passed the comprehensive examination, provided they write a thesis or engineering report.
