Вступительные требования

Students who do not have a degree equivalent to the UA Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering may be admitted into the graduate ECE program, but may be required to complete some undergraduate deficiency courses prior to enrolling in graduate courses. GRE scores must be competitive (incl. Verbal, Quantitative, and Analytical Writing). 4 year first degree, a bachelor or diploma, or 3 year 180 ECTS Bologna degree after 2003. GPA 3.0. Acceptable English Proficiency credentials: Test of English as a Foreign Language (link is external) (TOEFL) - minimum score of 79 iBT or 550 PBT International English Language Testing System (link is external) (IELTS) - minimum composite score of 7, with no subject area below a 6 Pearson PTE Academic (link is external) - minimum score of 60

The department offers programs leading to the Master of Science and the Doctor of Philosophy degrees with a major in electrical and computer engineering. These programs prepare students for careers in research and development in such areas as biomedical engineering; circuit design, VLSI, & CAD; communication systems; computer networks, distributed computing, & computer architecture; computer vision & robotic systems, control systems; digital signal & image processing; electromagnetics, microwave, & antennas; microelectronic devices & processing; microelectronic packaging & interconnects; optics; remote sensing & telemetering; and software, simulation & information systems.
