The course includes a comprehensive grounding in the key aspects of human resource management and business management; students: Examine the global competitive environment including the complexities of international human resource management; analyse and examine many of the strategic and practical challenges that businesses face on a day-to-day basis.

Applicants must possess: A UK degree/postgraduate degree or equivalent; NVQ Level 4 in management or professional development certificate in management studies; relevant postgraduate qualification (optional); applicants without the above qualifications may be considered for entry onto this course if they have substantial management experience; for applicants who have not studied their previous qualifications in English a TOEFL score of at least 575(written)/ 230 (computer-based) or an academic IELTS score of at least 6.5 will be required.

The course equips students with the knowledge, skills and understanding that will enable students to make a valuable contribution, particularly in interpersonal matters, in whatever roles they undertake; the course may give exemption from the Leadership and Management Standards of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD).
