A 1st degree in a relevant subject, e.g. in an appropriate construction discipline (students who have obtained their degree by full-time study will also normally have 2 years’ industrial experience); professional status with an appropriate construction institution, e.g. chartered architect, builder, engineer or surveyor; alternative qualifications and/or experience – e.g. holding a responsible position for a number of years with relevant responsibilities.
