The course is designed for experienced nurses in advanced and autonomous roles who would like to enhance their practice through study at master's level; it develops political awareness, practice competency and critical evaluation skills as the foundations of a scholarly approach to practice development; physical assessment and advanced nurse practitioner studies modules lie at the heart of the course; together with a research and dissertation module provide the mandatory modules; students undertake another 3 optional modules relevant to their practice chosen from the graduate programme.
