Вступительные требования

The most important requirement for admission is finding a Department of Surgery faculty member willing to be your supervisor. An M.D. degree or equivalent ii. B+ or greater in the last two years of medical school. For Russia: Bakalavr, Diplom ob Okanchanii Vysshego Uchebnogo Zaredeniia (Diploma Specialist); at least four years of study in the relevant area. Grade of 4 on a 5-point scale. iii. three letters of reference to the program iv. TOEFL score of 216 on the computer exam, or greater than 550 if written. All applicants to the MBA, MSc and PhD programs in Commerce and Business Administration should submit GMAT results. The GRE can, however, be used instead of the GMAT (please contact admissions to verify).

The Department of Surgery has offered a Master of Science Degree Program since 1969. Applicants with an MD degree or equivalent are accepted once they have been deemed to be satisfactory by the MSc Program Director and fulfill the admission requirements of the Faculty of Graduate Studies. A supervisory committee is chosen to represent the area of special interest by the candidate. The MSc program consists of a 18 credit thesis and additional course work at the 500 level to give a total of 30 credits.

Расположение

Два основных кампуса UBC расположены в Ванкувере и в городе Келоун в долине Оканаган. Кроме того, в Ванкувере находится площадь Робсон (UBC Robson Square) – оживленный учебный центр в самом сердце города.
