This programme is for those already teaching in independent schools; the PGCE is offered to teachers in all subjects and all levels (subject to availability).

Those on the course will be employed in schools in the independent sector where they will receive school-based training in the craft of the classroom, overseen and supported by mentors in the school; once each term students are visited by a subject specialist mentor from Buckingham, who will help to ensure comparability of standards across the participating schools.
