TOEFL Scores Internet: 80 Computer: 213 Paper: 550 Results of the SAT or ACT examination will be required with writing. Secondary school GPA. Specific high school course units are required for admission as a first-year student (an academic unit is a non-remedial, year-long course): 4 units of English (at least three with substantial writing requirements) 4 units of mathematics (Algebra I and above) 3 units of natural science (at least two with laboratory) 3 units of social studies 2 sequential units of the same world language 2 elective units, preferably from English, mathematics, natural science, social studies, or world language areas. A portfolio review is required for entry into the Film BFA major.

The B.F.A. in Film focuses on film production and provides students with a grounding in the history, theory and aesthetics of film while developing their individual production skills, style and voice as entrepreneurial cinematic storytellers. The program involves the student in the technical, economic and artistic processes of film and encourages creative exploration of the medium and its potential. Students take courses in Directing, Editing, Screenwriting and Production Management and actively seek the support and guidance of community professionals from Panavision, Kodak, the Orlando Film Commission and others to refine and complete their projects.
