This course offers students the unique opportunity to develop an informed understanding of the Islamic religion, heritage and culture, and to examine the way in which Islam shapes the lived experiences of Muslims in England today; it is aimed at individuals who work either in the public or the private sector and come into regular contact with Muslim clients; the course also appeals to those who, as a result of recent events, wish to find out more about the Islamic faith.

Расположение

Город Престон является культурной столицей графства Ланкашир и связан с остальными частями страны отличной системой автодорожного, железнодорожного и авиасообщения. Университет расположен в 10 минутах ходьбы от главной железнодорожной станции. Дорога на поезде от Престона до Манчестера занимает 45 минут, до Лондона – 2 часа 15 минут, а до Ливерпуля – 1 час. До аэропортов Манчестера, Ливерпуля и Блэкпула также легко добраться.
