Imaginative journal making is taught and supported throughout; creative arts therapies pathway: Year 1: embodying myth; researching myth; myth in practice; transformative arts pathway year 1: waking dreams: Orpheus and the art of seeing; anima mundi: Hermes and the soul of the world; secret fire: Mithras and the golden game; joint 2nd year studies: music and the psyche; entertaining ideas: Apollo and the muses have their say; spirit of enquiry: befriending research and publication; students may negotiate an independent study option to replace 1 of the above by arrangement with tutors.

Вступительные требования

Good 1st degree in a relevant subject (education; literature and the arts; or therapy; health and holistic practice of all kinds); some portfolio assessments are available for mature students with considerable appropriate experience: direct entry into the 2nd year is therefore possible but students should be aware that to achieve a Chichester award not less than 50% of studies must be completed at the University.

Students receive readings and discussion material between classes and when attending the University are involved in experiential or participative studies involving: art-practice; demonstrations; discussion; and appreciation.

Расположение

Университет расположен на территории двух студенческих городков, что предоставляет студентам возможность окунуться в активную жизнь богатого историей города Чичестера и в то же время насладиться отдыхом на побережье морского курорта Bognor Regis, где расположен второй кампус Университета. До обоих городов можно легко добраться на поезде или автомобильным транспортом. В каждом городе недалеко от студенческих городков есть железнодорожные станции и автобусные остановки.
