Core modules: Research, knowledge and evidence-based practice; principles of research; clinical judgement and decision-making; research project; options: health assessment, diagnostic reasoning and clinical decision-making, assessment of advanced clinical skills against recognised standards, concentrating on advanced practice and pharmacotherapeutic skills.

Вступительные требования

Graduates (or equivalent) within the field of nursing with a minimum lower 2nd Class classification; experienced practitioners with a minimum of 5 years practice based experience in health care settings; provide evidence of meeting the outcomes of ACP 300 or be prepared to study it successfully prior to formal acceptance on to the Master’s; applications must be accompanied by a written statement from the practice based facilitator which confirms commitment to the role.

This innovative course has two study pathways – leadership and nurse practitioner – which share the themes of research, evidence-based practice and clinical decision-making. In collaboration with other European institutions, it aims to promote the mobility of nurses, develop their potential, enhance their careers and share nursing expertise across the European Community and beyond.
