This degree is multidisciplinary in nature and can lead to many possible careers, whether in business or in the public or voluntary sectors; it aims to help students develop academically so that they have a detailed knowledge of business and management practices, can critically evaluate that knowledge and finally apply it in complex situations which may be characterised by contested and contradictory information; students develop skills in key business areas such as presentations, project management, team working, working to deadlines and targets, problem solving and decision making.
