This course is targeted to English as a Second/Additional Language teachers, mainstream teachers with bilingual children in their classes and bilingual support teachers; it aims to provide appropriate support to facilitate access to the curriculum for bilingual learners; students will become aware of the linguistic and cultural demands of the curriculum and be able to assess and monitor the learner's progress in terms of academic achievement and language proficiency.
