The combined studies programme is for applicants who wish to delay their choice of specialisation until the end of the first year, or for those who wish to combine 3 or more subject areas to Honours-degree level. Students choose up to 5 subject areas in Year 1 and may continue with these or slim down to 2 or 3 subjects or specialise in 1 subject in the final year; an optional year in industry (either abroad or in the UK) is available; subjects available: accounting and finance; art history; astronomy; biology; business economics; business studies; chemistry; civil engineering; computer studies; computing geospatial information systems; creative writing; criminology and criminal justice; cultural studies; drama (theatre and media); education; electronics; English as a foreign language; English language; English literature; film studies; forensic science; geography (human); geography (physical); geology; history; human resource management; information systems; information technology; law; leisure and sports management; leisure and tourism management; marketing; mathematics; media studies; multimedia; photography; politics; public management; public policy; psychology; sociology; software engineering; Spanish; sports science; statistics; visual arts Welsh; Welsh studies.
