Year 2: students can choose between documentary and fiction in the practical element and combine their choice with study-based modules: documentary and fiction film-making; radio drama and documentary; new media interactive, print and screen production; photography fictions and documentary photography; scriptwriting for film, television and radio; journalism (print and broadcast); film studies; media contexts. Year 3: students produce substantial pieces of individual work choosing from: a major project in photography, radio, film and video, new media or digital arts; scriptwriting film, television and radio; journalism (print or broadcast); film studies; media contexts.
