Year 2: photographic fictions production (constructed photography in advertising, fine art etc); documentary photography production; new media, interactive, print and screen production; media and contextual studies; themes and issues in photography. Year 3: major photography project; themes and issues in contemporary photography; studies in photographic practice; media and contextual studies; final show.

This course provides practical and contextual skills in photography and related media, with the opportunity to specialise in particular areas of photographic practice; it adopts a fairly broad approach, with practical options exploring documentary photography, digital photography and fine art photography; study is evenly split between theory and practice over the 3 years, and culminates in a public exhibition of photographic work.
