Consists of 6 modules and a dissertation; includes 3 separate pathways: media, education, and exhibits and presentations; Media pathway includes options in areas such as science controversies, and media studies of science; Education pathway includes specialist modules for those employed in or aiming to work in the education sector, focusing on the communication of science at secondary education level and above, and covering topics such as political initiatives and science education; exhibits and presentations pathway provides training for science communicators, and includes time spent at Techniques, an interactive visitor attraction engaged in innovation in the field of “hands-on” science.
