Course provides students with the opportunity to develop their book-length manuscript under the guidance of University tutors and guest writers; consists of a 10,000-word critical study and a writing project; work is in the novel, short stories or poetry; project comprises 70% of the degree assessment; critical study comprises 15% and may be on any writer, movement, genre or theme; final 15% of course comprises a journal of learning and self-assessment.
