2.2 degree in electrical/electronic engineering discipline; applicants without a 1st degree but with professional and vocational experience such as Incorporated Engineer (IEng); or Chartered Engineer (CEng) status are considered; where English is not 1st language IELTS scoring 6.0 or equivalent is required.

Embedded systems are at the heart of many engineering devices; building on a 1st degree in electrical/electronic engineering, this programme considers how embedded systems are designed and implemented in both hardware and software; the postgraduate programme develops technical skills and knowledge at an advanced level as well as analytical and management skills of students.
