A (minimum) GMAT or GRE test score is required from all candidates who obtained a bachelor from a university in a non-EU/EEA country in order to enter a Master of Science programme at the Faculty of Economics and Business: GMAT result As proof of your analytical writing and quantitative reasoning abilities, you must submit a satisfactory Graduate Management Admission Test (GMAT) score. With an overall: - GMAT score of 600 points or higher: you will be automatically accepted in our Business oriented MSc programmes, provided you meet all previous requirements. - GMAT score of 500 points or higher: the final decision will be taken by the Board of Admissions, taking into consideration the academic ranking and research orientation of your previous university as well as the content and grades of your undergraduate programme. To be eligible for admission to this Master, you need to hold an academic Bachelor's or Master's degree from a research university in one of the following - or closely related - fields: Business Administration,Business Economics, Econometrics and Operations Research, Economics and Business Economics, International Business, Technology Management. MSc Organizational & Management Control (O&MC) concentrates on the knowledge and skills that contribute to good guidance and management of organisations. It involves studying the effectiveness and other implications of control practices. During this programme you will gain knowledge about accounting and financial management techniques. These are used to provide (non-)financial information and to develop planning and control systems. You will also develop skills needed to communicate the information in an effective manner. The techniques will be placed in a context of broader issues, such as strategy and culture, and special attention will be paid to changes in systems and techniques. You will explore subjects like management accounting, financial management, management control and management of change. A combination of teaching and assessment methods is used.
