An upper 2nd Class Honours degree in psychology recognised as conferring the Graduate Basis for Registration by the British Psychological Society; plus 1 year's full-time equivalent clinical or research experience; students must be acceptable to the NHS in a employed status, and eligible for home (UK/EU) tuition fees status.

Professional training course for clinical psychologists; academic and professional modules cover: lifespan development, mental health, physical health and neuropsychology in key client groups of adults, older adults, children and adolescents, people with learning disabilities, and covers cognitive behavioural therapy and other therapeutic models; 6 clinical placements of 6 months cover: adults, older adults, children and adolescents, people with learning disabilities, and specialist placements are available in e.g., forensic psychology, neuropsychology, family therapy; trainees undertake 1 small-scale research project and a major research thesis.
