When applying for admission at universities in the state of Baden-Württemberg you have to take an orientation test. Applicants with higher education entrance qualification from abroad:
•general or subject-specific German higher education entrance qualification
•school graduation that permits higher education entrance in the home country and is recognised as equal to the German higher education entrance qualification
•assessment test (Studienkolleg (preparatory course)). German language skills: DSH 2 or TestDaF 4. Study is conducted in German and English.

During your studies you will be dealing with themes concerning politics and public administration as well as issues involving the theory of management and administration. The main aim of the programme is to convey social-scientific specialist knowledge and analytical skills, particularly in the areas of political science, administrative science and management theory. In detail, you will acquire knowledge of the political system in Germany, the theory of states and democracies, comparative politics and policy analysis, international relations and European organisation, as well as the foundations of administration science, human resources and organisation management, strategy and leadership.
