Вступительные требования

When applying for admission at universities in the state of Baden-Württemberg you have to take an orientation test. Applicants with higher education entrance qualification from abroad: •general or subject-specific German higher education entrance qualification •school graduation that permits higher education entrance in the home country and is recognised as equal to the German higher education entrance qualification •assessment test (Studienkolleg (preparatory course)). DSH 2 or DSH 1 with TOEFL (560 paper-based points)/TestDaF 4 or TestDaF 3 with TOEFL (560 paper-based points).

Vast amounts of data are constantly being produced in all areas of work and everyday life: weather data, economic data, demographic data, electronic data etc. During the Information Engineering study programme you deal with questions of how to translate data into user-friendly information. This includes, for instance, filtering out the relevant information from huge amounts of data and presenting it in clearly comprehensible ways, in other words: visualisation.
