Вступительные требования
When applying for admission at universities in the state of Baden-Württemberg you have to take an orientation test. Applicants with higher education entrance qualification from abroad:
•general or subject-specific German higher education entrance qualification
•school graduation that permits higher education entrance in the home country and is recognised as equal to the German higher education entrance qualification or
•assessment test (Studienkolleg (preparatory course)). German language skills: DSH 1 or TestDaF 3. Study is conducted in German and English.

As a discipline physics covers a very broad spectrum. The basic aim of research in physics is to understand the forms of material at all imaginable size scales in relationship with the fundamental forces of nature. The typical work of physicists includes not only exploiting fundamental phenomena for the development of new measuring techniques, but also modelling theoretical concepts and complex processes with the aid of computers.
