Modules consider the ways in which material culture has been represented and interpreted by historians and cultural theorists; the methodologies behind museum practice, the formation of country house collections; and methods of display and interpretation; there is also the opportunity to choose an option from an extensive array of modules which allows students to specialise in their own areas of interest and do further work on many periods and themes in art history and cultural theory.

Вступительные требования

1st or 2.1 degree, or relevant professional experience; where English is not 1st language IELTS 6.5; or a TOEFL score of 580 (paper-based) with 4.0 on the associated Test of Written English (TWE); 240 in the computer-based test with 4.0 on the essay rating; TOEFL iBT: 94 total score with a recommendation of: 20 in listening; 23 in reading; 23 in speaking; and 24 in writing are required.

Расположение

Университетский городок находятся в 20 минутах ходьбы от вокзала города Лидса. Вокзал Лидса соединяет вуз со всеми крупными городами Великобритании, и имеет быстрое сообщение с Лондоном.

Лидс обслуживают два больших аэропорта: Лидс Бредфорд и Манчестер. Совершаются регулярные рейсы из множества городов Европы и мира. От аэропорта Бредфорд примерно 20 минут на такси до Университета.
