Students must have basic passive knowledge of Ancient Greek for focus studies in ‘Christian Archeology and Byzantine Art History’. Applicants for a master’s or extension course should have specialist qualifications in the relevant discipline. Officially certified proof of German language proficiency at the advanced level, i.e. completed level C 1. Before enrolment you have to pass the DSH-2 exam.
The Master program "Art History: works - Contexts - discourses" gives students a wide range, the history and theory of fine and decorative arts and architecture to study in all its temporal and broad methodological approach.
