Вступительные требования
Proof of a Bachelor’s degree in German Studies or an equivalent final degree from a university in Germany or abroad, including proof of courses successfully completed with a minimum of 72 credit points in German Studies. In addition, students are required to have sufficient active and passive knowledge of another modern foreign language (e.g. French, Italian, Russian) to read specialist literature or sufficient knowledge of Latin (verification not required). It is assumed that students have sufficient active and passive knowledge of the English language.

Students on the Master’s program in German Studies can either specialize in Germanic Linguistics or Germanic Literature.
The program builds on the analytical and theoretical knowledge acquired on the Bachelor’s degree and is oriented towards independent research work. The main focus is therefore on the ability to grasp complex issues, examine them critically, reflect on them in connection with other issues, and present a scientific argument according to specific requirements.
