In the case of an international applicants, your university entrance qualification obtained in your home country must be equivalent to a German university entrance qualification. Anyone wanting to embark on a German-taught undergraduate degree programme at Münster University must have an adequate knowledge of German (for most programmes DSH-2 or equivalent).

The course in cultural and social anthropology begins with an introduction to the subject. Students are taught about relevant theories, concepts, fields of investigation and domains of application. At a later stage in the course they achieve a fuller understanding of their subject by exploring special areas of cultural analysis and examining various ways in which theories can be put into practice.
