Applicants may apply to the Musikhochschule Muenster to take part in the auditions, which take place annually each summer. In the case of an international applicants, your university entrance qualification obtained in your home country must be equivalent to a German university entrance qualification. Anyone wanting to embark on a German-taught undergraduate degree programme at Münster University must have an adequate knowledge of German (for most programmes DSH-2 or equivalent).

The bachelor's program is an undergraduate artistic study, which leads to a first professional degree. It conveys musically artistic fundamentals and expertise in the fields of artistic and instrumental solo and ensemble playing as well as methodological skills and career-related qualifications so that the students will be able to carry out artistic work, preparation and execution of concerts, to critically assess the artistic experiences and to act responsibly.
