In the case of an international applicants, your university entrance qualification obtained in your home country must be equivalent to a German university entrance qualification. Anyone wanting to embark on a German-taught undergraduate degree programme at Münster University must have an adequate knowledge of German (for most programmes DSH-2 or equivalent).

The programme combines physical, mathematical and career-related components. It begins with an introduction to the basic concepts and the theoretical treatment of classical physics. This gives students an overview of the different fields of physics, thereby enabling them to present and reflect critically on the physical laws that govern processes in nature. Everyone, who enrols for the course, is expected to obtain at least a basic knowledge of real analysis, linear algebra and integration theory.
