Вступительные требования

A university degree in a related subject is required (grade 2.3/B or above) with a standard period of study 6 semesters (e.g. a Bachelor degree, Magister Artium or State teaching qualification). A lower mark can be compensated for with a better result in previous German degree studies (grade 2.0/B or above). Linguistic proficiency: Two foreign languages are required at level B2 on the scale of the Common European Framework of Reference (Latin or Greek). Foreign applicants have to provide evidence a command of German at C1 level.

The Master in German Studies covers the wide spectrum in the three main fields of German linguistics, modern German literature, and German literature in the Middle Ages with the specialisation in one of them. The four semester course is geared towards practical research, while at the same time, prepares students for their future career.
