Вступительные требования

All students will be expected to have completed the pre-university curriculum in their country prior to enrolling at UNC-Chapel Hill. For example, students from a British-based education system will need to have completed A Levels, and students in a French-based system will complete the Baccalaureate. We require all applicants, regardless of where they are from, to submit SAT or ACT scores. The optional writing sections of both exams are not required, and we do not require SAT II Subject Tests for admission. If you have taken these optional exams and you choose to self-report them on your application or send us your official scores, we’ll review them as supplemental test scores. All non-US citizens and non-permanent resident students for whom English is not their first language must submit test scores to demonstrate their English proficiency. We will accept the TOEFL, IELTS or PTE. • TOEFL minimum is 100 • IELTS minimum is 7.0 • PTE minimum is 68

The Undergraduate program in art history is directed toward two primary educational goals: to acquaint students pursuing a Liberal Arts degree with the historical significance, cultural diversity, and intellectual richness of human artistic traditions from prehistoric times to the present, and to provide those students with the intellectual tools needed to investigate the complex roles played by the arts in a variety of social contexts. The skills students develop through the study of art history include visual analysis, historical research, critical reading, analytical and descriptive writing, and oral communication.

The University of North Carolina is situated in Chapel Hill city of North Carolina State in USA. UNC Chapel Hill's 3.0 km2 campus over Chapel Hill's downtown area encompasses places like the Morehead Planetarium and the many stores and shops located on historic center of social life - Franklin Street. The university's campus is informally divided into three regions, usually referred to as "north campus," "middle campus," and "south campus”.
