Вступительные требования

All students will be expected to have completed the pre-university curriculum in their country prior to enrolling at UNC-Chapel Hill. For example, students from a British-based education system will need to have completed A Levels, and students in a French-based system will complete the Baccalaureate. We require all applicants, regardless of where they are from, to submit SAT or ACT scores. The optional writing sections of both exams are not required, and we do not require SAT II Subject Tests for admission. If you have taken these optional exams and you choose to self-report them on your application or send us your official scores, we’ll review them as supplemental test scores. All non-US citizens and non-permanent resident students for whom English is not their first language must submit test scores to demonstrate their English proficiency. We will accept the TOEFL, IELTS or PTE. • TOEFL minimum is 100 • IELTS minimum is 7.0 • PTE minimum is 68

The Cultural Studies Program is designed to give students the opportunity to create a rigorous interdisciplinary/multidisciplinary program organized around a particular theme, question, problem, or interest (e.g., third world/ethnic studies, technology, science studies, theory, neo-liberalism, labor), or to establish links across a range of classes that define a specific intellectual focus. Cultural studies offers a home to students united by questions of the complex, dynamic workings of culture in contexts and with interests as diverse as the social studies of science, local migrant farm workers, or the influence of built space on consciousness.

The University of North Carolina is situated in Chapel Hill city of North Carolina State in USA. UNC Chapel Hill's 3.0 km2 campus over Chapel Hill's downtown area encompasses places like the Morehead Planetarium and the many stores and shops located on historic center of social life - Franklin Street. The university's campus is informally divided into three regions, usually referred to as "north campus," "middle campus," and "south campus”.
