Вступительные требования

Good degree (2.1 or above) in English literature, language, linguistics, or a related discipline: history, philosophy, modern languages; international students whose 1st language is not English are required to provide proof of English language proficiency: IELTS (7.5 minimum); ToEFL 630 minimum score (paper test) with a written English score of 5, 267 minimum score (computer test) with a written English score of 5.

This course allows students to specialise in the literary areas of their choice; students select the 4 modules that best suit their own interests: Poetry; prose; drama; film and theory; students enhance their knowledge and abilities while charting their own pathway towards a dissertation on a subject that interests them; it is developed and written with the support of a supervisor.

Расположение

Четвертый крупнейший город Англии известен своей дружелюбной атмосферой, идеальной для общественной студенческой жизни и развлечений. Шеффилд, со 150 лесонасаждениями и 50 парками является самым «зеленым» городом в Англии.

Университет находится в центре Великобритании, всего в 11 км от национального парка Скалистый край и в двух с половиной часах езды на поезде до Лондона.

Через город Шеффилд проходят автомобильные и железнодорожные магистрали страны. В самом городе отлично функционирует транспортная система. Университетский кампус находится в западной части центра города и до него легко добраться на машине, автобусе или трамвае.
